Paneer

A delicious and versatile vegetarian cheese, made with whole milk, vinegar and natural west coast sea salt. The curds are removed from the whey & compacted under weight to form paneer's distinctive firm texture and flavour. It is ready to use immediately after its making and can even be frozen to preserve its shelf life. Paneer is delicious as is grilled in a pan with olive oil or makes a great addition to a braai. Its most traditional and authentic use is as part of a curry.
