Cultured butter is made with an extra step, instead of making butter from sweet cream, the one you would normally whip and serve alongside a scone. We culture the cream with our homemade culture. Giving the cream additional flavour, beneficial bacteria and probiotics through fermentation the resulting butter made from this cream is packed full of flavour. We add 2% west coast sea salt to our butter giving it that additional flavour and texture.
